We wouldn't like to stay on the strip Orleans feels like home. This must be our 8th time to stay at Orleans we travel from Ireland. Staff especially bar staff are very welcoming and friendly. Just spent 8 nights at Orleans and we had a great time. We would give 5 stars if reception staff. We spoke to a few people that said wouldn't stay again they'd stay on strip because shuttle bus was gone It would save a lot of taxis and as the pool is closed you feel your getting something for resort fee. Plus I wish they would bring back the shuttle bus to the strip we really missed it. WiFi has really improved it was excellent this time we stayed as other years we could only get in our room It's a shame reception staff let hotel down as all other staff are very friendly and helpful Check out was the same different girl but not very pleasant. Lucky we had been there before and knew where everything was because she gave us no information just handed key and told us what floor we were on. The female staff member on reception was terrible, no welcome to Orleans no conversation at all just just passport and visa card. The reason we didn't give 5 stars was our check in was the worst we've ever had at a hotel.
